Standing in the valley looking up at mountains they look both intimidating and sometimes downright scary. Hiking up to their summit seems impossible. The thought of standing on top of them exhilarating.

It’s true. Many of those summits can’t be hiked. You need to be a climber to reach those peaks.

There are, however, plenty of mountains that can be summitted by hikers. All you need is to be fit and have experience or a good guide. Even when, from the valley, those hikeable peaks still look really intimidating.

Standing on top of a mountain that seemed so unreachable is exhilarating!
