Trust you’re on the right path

On the right path

Starting at the bottom of the valley you can’t see the summit we’ve set as our goal. You have to trust that you’ve chosen the right trail, have the necessary skills and equipment too. All that is then left to do is set out.

Sometimes you’ll be able to see what lies ahead. It will give you the confidence to keep going.

At other times, you won’t be able to see beyond a bend in the trail and you have to rely on the choices that got you this far. Trusting that what comes after that bend will show you, you’re still on course towards the summit.

Often what we see round the bend is a complete surprise

Anything from a gorgeous view, a nice flat stretch to yet another steep climb.

That’s part of the experience and — let’s be honest — part of the fun!

Life is like that

We don’t always see where the path we’ve chosen in life leads us. We simply have to trust that we’re on the right path and have the necessary skills to get us where we want to go.

Trusting that we’ll be able to handle whatever surprises come up, we’ll be able to handle them. Taking them as part of the experience and as part of the fun.

As always …

Go dare greatly!
