These Terms & Conditions apply to coaching treks organised by Dare Greatly Coaching
What Is Included
Two nights in a double room (non-smoking) in a hotel or bed-and-breakfast. One on the day of arrival and one before the day of departure
Four nights in mountain inns, where possible in more private 2-4 person rooms, otherwise in bunkrooms known as ‘Matratzenlager’
All meals and beverages
Five guided hikes
All coaching
Transportation once on location
What Is Not Included
We are not responsible for travel arrangements to and from the starting location of the event of your choice
All tips for drivers, maids, servers, etc.
Snacks, souvenir shopping and laundry services
Items of a personal nature such as, gifts, toll calls, excess baggage, medical costs, the costs of hospitalization and evacuation from remote areas, travel insurance and additional expenses arising from the delay or extension of a trip due to weather, political disputes, sickness, failure of transportation, or other causes beyond our control
Other non-included items would be: any other activities and tours not included in our package.
Payment
A non-refundable deposit of € 250 is needed to hold your spot to be paid on reservation.
Upon confirmation of your reservation/booking, 50% of the total payment is due.
The final payment is due one week before the start of your trip.
All payments are by Visa or MasterCard or Stripe or Paypal or bank transfer and to be made out to “Gerdi Verwoert”
All payments must be received in the office a minimum of one week before the date of trip departure. We cannot make exceptions to this policy.
Upon request a personalized payment plan is possible. Contact us directly to make those arrangements.
Cancellation and Refunds
Any cancellation made will result in a total loss of your € 250 deposit.
Any cancellation received in writing from 11-20 days will result in a loss of 50% of the trip price. Any cancellation between 1 week and the trip departure will result in a total loss of funds. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it is not meeting the trip minimum.
Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended if there is a possibility that you may have to cancel your trip. All cancellations must be made to Gerdi Verwoert (Dare Greatly Coaching) in writing and any refund requests must be made in writing to Gerdi Verwoert (Dare Greatly Coaching) within 30 days of the return date. Please send written requests to: gerdi@daregreatlycoaching.com.
Gerdi Verwoert (Dare Greatly Coaching) reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure for any reason whatsoever, including an insufficient number of participants or logistical problems (e.g. acts of God, war, strikes, etc.), which may impede trip operations. The refund of all payments as described in the paragraph below shall release Gerdi Verwoert (Dare Greatly Coaching) from any further liability. A trip cancellation due to insufficient numbers would normally occur at least a month prior to departure, unless acts of God, war, strikes or other events impede our departure causing large numbers of participants opt to cancel participation on the journey in the last days before departure.
Gerdi Verwoert (Dare Greatly Coaching) must make substantial payments to suppliers (including providers of land travel) in advance of the scheduled date on which we embark. If a trip is cancelled due to forces beyond our control (acts of God, war, labour strikes, earthquake, flooding, etc.), Gerdi Verwoert (Dare Greatly Coaching) will promptly refund the portion of the trip cost not advanced to suppliers. Gerdi Verwoert (Dare Greatly Coaching) will use its best efforts to recover advance payments as promptly as possible and will refund to you the amount recovered if any. However, Gerdi Verwoert (Dare Greatly Coaching) does not guarantee recovery of any or all of the advance payments made, and our use of best efforts to recover these payments will not include the institution of any legal proceeding in foreign lands. This policy also applies to trip cancellation by client choice following any necessary increase in trip costs.

Itinerary
The itinerary as described on this website and/or documents made available to you can vary depending on weather and trail conditions as well as on the physical conditions of participants. Changing the itinerary lies entirely within the discretion and responsibility of the trek leader, mountain hiking guide and/or Gerdi Verwoert (Dare Greatly Coaching). Safety is our top priority!
