When you’re serious about doing things different in your over-stressed life

You probably have many things that can cause stress in your life. Expected to be available all the time may very well be one of them.
With a mobile phone in your pocket that is more than 30 times more powerful than the first personal computer Apple ever put on the market, for many, it is a challenge to disconnect from email, social media, news sites and whatever else can be found on the internet.
FOMO – the fear of missing out – can be overwhelming. What if a client has an urgent question? What if an email comes in that needs to be acted upon? What if someone needs to reach you?
It’s not just you; there are others too.
Your boss wants to be able to contact you at all hours. Your clients expect you to be on call 24/7.
Your mom asks what you were doing because you didn’t immediately answer the phone.
Friends are miffed when you don’t instantly respond to their latest text message or like their Instagram update.
When you’re serious about reducing the stress in your life, you have to disconnect from all this right now.
Disconnect for at least a while. Long enough to gain the mental space to take a good look at everything that is causing you stress.
Because only when you have identified what is causing you stress, can you start de-stressing your life.
As always ….
Go dare greatly
